Under direct supervision of executive staff, Confidential Strategy Planners will be responsible for researching, developing, creating and designing plans for long range solutions to ongoing problems affecting law enforcement strategies overall. They will examine strategies, policies, practices, and operations in other jurisdictions with proven successful operations and project implementations. They will recommend new strategies, policies and procedures to enhance the agency's performance in public safety. They will research and propose new and innovative agency initiatives, policies, and strategic plans to enhance public safety and increase efficiency in delivery of service. They will gather appropriate metrics and perform all quantitative analysis required to monitor performance and assess achievement of stated goals.

A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and three years
satisfactory full-time experience related to the projects and policies to be studied in the
particular position.
